Adding things
Six doors into the same vault. Whatever comes in gets a thumbnail, a place, and, with the Curator on, a title and tags.
Drag and drop
Drop files or folders from the Finder, a browser or any app onto the grid. Drop them while a collection is open and they join that collection. Duplicates are caught by content, not by name: the same image twice is stored once.
Import…
File → Import Files… or Import Folder…. A folder is counted first, then copied in. Import Installed Fonts pulls every font active on your Mac into the library as specimens.
Paste, ⌘V
An image in the clipboard becomes an item. A URL becomes a link card or an article: Teserra decides from the page, and a toast lets you switch. A file path pastes the file.
Capture, ⌘⇧M
From any app: select an area and it lands in the vault. ⌘⇧W captures a window, ⌘⇧F the whole screen, ⌘⇧S opens Studio: the window on a backdrop, margins, arrows, text, numbered badges, a redaction tool. Every capture also appears in the Captures view, with a five-second card to copy it or file it. The menu bar icon offers the same three captures from any Space.
